Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy

Treatment for problems with thinking and memory is the process of relearning cognitive skills that have been lost or altered, as a result of damage to brain cells/chemistry. If skills cannot be relearned, then new ones have to be taught to enable a person to compensate for his/her lost cognitive functions.

Treatment sessions are typically weekly appointments lasting approximately 1 hour. Treatment lengths range from 6-12 weeks or longer.

After a full neuropsychological evaluation, the doctor will determine if you are an appropriate candidate for Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy.
