Alzheimer's Disease

Alzheimer's disease is a progressive illness with no cure. When you notice changes in thinking, it is important to investigate if this is normal aging versus Alzheimer's disease as early as possible. There are medications that can slow down the process significantly but are most effective early on in the disease process. A neuropsychological evaluation is an effective diagnostic tool in making this determination. Knowing a diagnosis early on in the disease process allows for making important decisions about future caregiving for you or your loved one.
