Behavioral Difficulties

Behavior symptoms can manifest for any number of reasons. It is of the utmost importance to determine the cause of those symptoms. A child acting out due to depression needs a different treatment plan than a child acting out due to frustrations related to attention difficulties. A neuropsychological evaluation can provide an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment recommendations.

Common symptoms related to behavioral difficulties include:

  • Tantrums
  • Sadness
  • Anxiousness
  • Getting in trouble at school
  • Unexplained stomachaches or headaches
  • Not wanting to do fun activities
  • Not responding to punishment
  • Being overly mean to siblings
