Clinical Neuropsychologist

Dr. Arina Polevoy received her Doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Neuropsychology. She completed her internship at the Illinois Psychological Association Predoctoral Internship Consortium (IPAPIC). During her internship, Dr. Polevoy provided extensive neuropsychological evaluations to children with a variety of presentations including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disorders, conditions related to low birth weight, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Additionally, she has experience with adults suffering from Substance Use Disorders, HIV/AIDS, Epilepsy, Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), dementia, and a variety of other psychiatric conditions. She has also conducted numerous disability evaluations in cooperation with the Department of Rehabilitation Services. 

Following her internship completion, Dr. Polevoy completed a dual, post-doctoral, two-year fellowship program at both Thomson Memory & Attention and Northwest Behavioral Health Services. At her fellowships, Dr. Polevoy gained a great deal of training in the assessment and treatment of children, adults, and geriatric patients. Dr. Polevoy has extensive experience assessing and diagnosing older adults with suspected dementia as well as providing comprehensive capacity evaluations. She is interested in the assessment and treatment of individuals over the lifespan while her clinical interests are vast and varied (e.g., ADHD, TBIs, learning and developmental disorders, epilepsy, HIV-related disorders, substance use disorders, socio-emotional evaluations, strokes, cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, sleep apnea, and dementia). Dr. Polevoy is affiliated with various hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. Dr. Polevoy is fluent in English, Russian, and Hebrew. Dr. Polevoy's hobbies include traveling, trying out new restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Charles E. Cruise, Psy.D.

Clinical Neuropsychology Fellow

Dr. Charles Cruise received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Neuropsychology from Wheaton College Graduate School. He interned at Fraser Behavioral Health in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he administered comprehensive evaluations, individual and group therapy, and naturalistic developmental behavioral interventions (specialized parent-child communication training) for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism and ADHD. Afterwards, he completed a one-year postdoctoral fellowship at Rush University Medical Center, where he conducted autism evaluations, provided group social skills training, and assessed children and adults with genetic disorders as part of nationwide research studies. Dr. Cruise has worked with children as young as 15 months and strives to provide a comfortable testing environment customized to each child’s personality. He is committed to providing compassionate care to parents as well, equipping them with resources targeted to their needs and aligned with their values. Dr. Cruise also enjoys providing evaluations across the lifespan and has experience assessing attention and memory concerns in adults and geriatric patients.

Dr. Cruise was raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and loves ocean waves and steamed crabs. He has worked as a software engineer for the federal government. He has also served as a pastor and theologian, having earned a PhD in theological studies and published several books/articles. He enjoys running, teaching at his church, and spending time with his wife and their Goldendoodle, Finn.
